1. Examine the New Pump: Before installation, ensure that the new hydraulic pump matches your original pump in terms of bolt pattern, shaft type, coupling type, port specifications/orientation, and pump rotation (if applicable).
2. Flush and Clean the System: Discard the used hydraulic oil, flush the system, and clean the reservoir. Replace all related filters.
3. Add Clean Oil: Use the recommended oil grade for your equipment, following your owner’s manual. Ensure the system is filled with clean, premium-grade oil.
4. Install a 10-Micron Filter: Place a 10-micron filter on the return line to ensure proper oil cleanliness.
5. Inspect Connections: Check all pipes and fittings for damage or excessive wear, and replace if needed.
6. Install the Pump: Secure all suction and pressure connections using proper seal rings if applicable. Ensure the return line is free from restrictions.
